The Role
We’re looking for a strategic and confident Account Manager – PR with 4+ years of agency experience. This is a client-facing role where you’ll lead communications across Lifestyle, Fashion, FNB, Beauty, tech, and more turning ideas into campaigns that deliver impact.
Key Responsibilities
● Establish and nurture relationships with clients
● To counsel clients confidently and maturely on integrated communications marketing including PR, social media, content, and digital marketing
● Responsible for servicing and retaining clients
● Overseeing client activities, and driving strategic media and creative campaigns
● Writing PR proposals and other strategic communications materials to grow existing accounts
● Actively contribute to and own new business pitches
● Taking responsibility for a portfolio of accounts and managing teams, developing junior team members, and line management responsibilities
● Directing media engagement strategy for clients and coaching teams to activate and deliver coverage, leading from the front.
● Lead teams on firm marketing and visibility initiatives like Award Applications
● Handling complex client issues and an ability to provide senior clients with clear, confident, and well-informed strategies.
● Counsel under pressure.
● Own and deliver status reports for Review Meetings with the clients (Monthly, Quarterly & Annual Reviews)
Qualifications :
● 4+ Years proven Experience in PR
● Public Relations, Media Relations, and Strategic Communications skills
● Account Management and Communication skills
● Knowledge of Public Relations best practices and standards
● Ability to create high-quality press releases, garnering media attention
● Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
● Ability to interact and build relations with internal and external stakeholders
● Experience in managing crisis communication
● Experience working in an agency environment is a plus
● Lifestyle / Fashion / Hospitality / F&B / Real Estate / Tech background is a plus
● Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field
